Our premium packaging definitely stands out in the store. This is due to the use of the latest technologies, the use of new materials, combining and developing further refinement techniques.
In the case of the latter, foiling, UV varnishing, embossing or hot stamping, i.e. hot foiling, are the basic effects. Once characteristic of premium packaging, today they lose their uniqueness to cold stamping, hybrid or holographic varnishes. The substrate on which we print is also changing.
Cold stamping also becomes irreplaceable, where selective lamination with metallic foil is performed in the printing process on the offset machine. We apply silver or gold film like printing ink, with the same precision. In addition, we can immediately apply the selected color to it. This gives unlimited possibilities of using metallic colors on packaging.
A new type of premium packaging refinement is the S-Druk iridescent effect. This is our original technique that allows you to make the most of the possibilities offered by cold stamping, UV offset printing and hybrid varnishes. The final effect, simulating the use of iriodine varnishes, is really unique.
More frequently, high-end brands use cartons laminated with metallic or holographic foil. For their printing, we use UV offset printing technology and inks fixed by UV radiation with increased pigmentation. As a result, the colors on the packaging become more vivid and deeper. And it's the perfect way to attract the attention of a store or drug store customer.
Microembossing – is a technology that combines the application of metallic foil on the packaging in the process of hot stamping and embossing, which very slightly affects the structure of the cardboard.
3D embossing - it is a technology that allows for multi-level embossing of a packaging with 3D engraving dies.
Hot-stamping - this is a refinement consisting in "pressing" the hot stamping foil into the surface of the cardboard with a heated plate in the shape of a logo, decorative text or other element. This method is also used to place holograms on the packaging. Hot stamping techniques are special effects that enhance the visual values.
Locally applied metallic foil elements using cold stapming technology, printed in colours: CMYK + 2 Pantone colours, enhanced with hybrid varnish and UV varnish. In addition, some elements were embossed with multi-level 3D engraving dies.
A windowing element is often used in cosmetic packaging. An important issue here is the possibility of partial presentation of theproduct. We create packaging that allows consumers to have direct visual contact with the product hidden inside.
